I had begrudgingly picked up a paintbrush during an intensive outpatient therapy program and had accidentally found my medium in 2018. Finding a creative outlet and passion at one of the lowest points of my life was world changing. Over the past few years art has become not only a dumping ground for my issues with mental health and PTSD, but also a place of vital human connection as I've come to realize expression of my issues through art is relatable to other people and not as alien as I had assumed. I'm an entirely self taught, neurodivergent, and queer artist who's learning to find my voice and strengths.
