Both shows were just fantastic! I saw the show late Friday night with a small crowd, and they really filled the space with the feeling. Both shows were challenging, looking at a world that hurts to look at, but both managed to be funny, and even more remarkably, hopeful.

Thick Thighs Ride the Red Line tackles a challenging topic in such a beautiful way. The specificity, the dialogue, and the inner thoughts bring you inside the mind and heart of a fat person. You’ll leave this show with more empathy and feeling less alone.

Closing Arguments is an incredibly relatable show. We’ve all felt at war with our body, and this show put this feeling into words that resonate and make you laugh at the same time.

Both acts were so good!! A quote I loved from Thick Thighs Ride the Red Line is "I am so loved in this body and will not be diminishing myself." This is a must see for anyone who has ever struggled with body image and learning to love the body you are in.
