Tenn. Playwrights Studio Auditioning Actors

The Tennessee Playwrights Studio is seeking non-union actors for THAT WOMAN - THE MONOLOGUE SHOW for the Elgin Fringe Festival. This is a 60-minute festival version of the full production, which first premiered at the Darkhorse Theater in Nashville, TN.

We are seeking female-identifying/non-binary actors of all ages/ethnicities/body types to fill open roles. The actor does not need to look like the historical figure that she/they will portray. 

Rehearsals for Elgin/Chicago-area actors will begin at the beginning of August with a virtual read-through with the entire cast and then one-on-one rehearsals with the director via zoom at days/times convenient to both.

The festival runs 9/21-9/29. Specific dates and times will be announced soon.
