Bubble Plant

Hi, this is Anna Lentz. I'm a painter and textile artist. And this is my painting bubble plant. It's sixteen inches by twenty inches, acrylic on canvas. And it is inspired by this ceramic planter that I have that has these protrusions off the side that look like bubbles. And I painted a succulent in it like an aloe spiky aloe. Below it are some sewing items, a pair of scissors that are opened up, and two spools of thread, and several safety pins. And everything is arranged in sort of a geometric composition with bright colors and patterns. That are very vibrant and kind of unsettling.
